Abstract

This article is a case study, where the main educational innovation activities developed in the Application Development for Mobile Devices course were presented, which was taught in the first semester of 2018 in the School of Computer Engineering School of Technological Institute of Costa Rica. It was developed using the problem-based learning methodology (ABP). In addition, during the course important topics of agile methodologies for SCRUM development were incorporated, generating in them the culture of development of best practices in construction of computer systems.
