Abstract

This research analyzes whether the level of mindfulness influences academic performance, and whether this relationship could be conditioned by the learning style of the students. The level of mindfulness is studied through the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale and the D. A. Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory is followed to identity the learning style. The results of this study show that there are styles that are more sensitive than others to the different stimuli that influence the level of attention. Their correct management will affect the possibility of obtaining better learning results.
