Abstract

Recognizing the importance of the literacy process and the expansion of learning styles in Contemporary due to the development of different technologies of information and communication, the presentation of Educopédia tool is a proposal that not only caters to the educational demands of today as characterized by innovation which translates into the school routine. First, we must understand and reiterate that there is not only literacy in the school context and that, although the legitimacy of the acquisition of reading and writing is tied to the use of paper, it is also necessary to consider in this process, the virtual space. This space that fosters interaction among individuals in different contexts of knowledge acquisition. The experience of social practices of reading and writing through different carriers text is more interesting is mediated by technology that now enables the textual production, either through audio and video, now through filming, animation, and many other strategies. It is undeniable encouragement and support that Educopédia offers learning in general and literacy specifically. Accelerates processes of dialogue with knowledge, create new methods and teaching strategies, stimulates areas of reasoning, mediation empowers the teacher with the student.
